1. Maintain a practical asset register

Record each asset’s identifier, category, location, model, serial number, criticality, and operating counter. Sector-specific starting templates help teams establish relevant asset categories without changing the core maintenance workflow.

2. Control work from request to closure

Create corrective, preventive, predictive, and inspection work orders with priority, status, assigned person or department, location, labour, cost, and downtime. Add task checklists and supporting PDF or image files where the work requires evidence.

3. Schedule preventive work by time or use

Plan recurring tasks by calendar interval, operating counter, or the earlier of the two. Due-date and usage progress help the team identify work that is approaching its trigger.

4. Connect parts and suppliers to maintenance work

Track on-hand quantity, minimum stock, unit cost, and supplier details. Parts issued to or returned from a work order update the working stock record, while order-request text can be prepared for supplier follow-up.

5. Follow calibration and maintenance performance

Keep calibration due dates visible and review measures such as availability, downtime, backlog, preventive completion, MTBF, and MTTR from the records entered. Task diagrams help managers inspect the progress of individual jobs.

6. Keep a usable action history

Record changes made during the work session, filter activity by date, and produce printable module or period reports. JSON export and import support transfer of the app’s data file in the reviewed edition.

7. Use aviation-specific registers where appropriate

The aviation configuration includes beta registers for areas such as Part-66 licence details, AD/SB status, life-limited parts, tech-log entries, deferred MEL defects, and component installation or removal. These registers support internal control only and must be configured and checked against the operator’s approved procedures and current official requirements.
